Every year on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami Manas Mitra holds its annual cultural program-Krishnotsav for specially-abled children.
This year Krishnotsav-2023 special was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Amarjyoti Special School, Karnal on 1st September 2023.
55 students from Amarjyoti Special School and 10 Students from Nirmal Jot, Charitable Trust participated in the event with the help and support of their teachers and parents.
The students gave mesmerizing dance, fancy dress, singing and recitation performances and made beautiful painting and craft work on the theme of Janmashtami. The tireless efforts of their teachers and parents reflected well in their heart-warming presentation. It was a treat for the eye and the soul.
The event was attended by Ms. Anjali Narang (Founder, Karrots Play School, Karnal) along with Sh. Dinesh Munjal (Chairman, Nirmal Jot Charitable Trust)
Ms. Anjali Narang presented appreciation certificates and trophies to all the students and their teachers on behalf of Manas Mitra.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by Sister Gladis (Principal, Amarjyoti Special School) followed by a free-for-all dance on Harinaam Kirtan and refreshments for all the participants.
