All the way through the festival season, from the Navratra, Diwali and up to the Christmas holiday season, Manas Mitra Vocational Center Ghaziabad has been engaged in exhibiting and selling handmade art & craft products produced by specially-abled children/PMIs and their families at the Center.
Manas Mitra participated in the Diwali Utsav Career Fare held at Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri, Delhi on October 5, 2024 and exhibited art and craft products for sale there. The products were appreciated by the visitors for their quality and received a good response in terms of sales, also giving a morale boost to the specially-abled children/PMIs and their families who had made them.
The products were also put up for sale as gift hampers for the Diwali season both online and offline under the brand name ‘Jyotirmayo Arts’.
A Diwali Gifts Exhibition of the products was held at Manas Mitra Vocational Center Ghaziabad from 12-13 October 2024. This also received a good response and the buyers appreciated both the efforts and the quality of the products, with some going to the extent of saying that ‘products look professionally made’.
In terms of sales also, the response was good with the total sales figures from the exhibitions and online orders touching Rs. One Lakh mark.
